The second northern day, lighter than the initial, starts on the Marbil Street, at the foot of the Mount Igeldo. From the hostel La Sirena is easy, 150 meters down and the Marbel Street is the first left-hand. Or from San Sebastián we go to the Concha walk which we took to continue through the Satrustegui walk until the end, leaving to our right the beach of Ondarreta, and once there to get to the left the Igueldo street, we continue by that street 150 meters and take to the right the Marbil street. We will solve the level through stairs, neighboring trails and a refreshing path that dies next to the parking lot, which we cross to the Leku Eder Hotel.

We passed alongside an Asador and later we penetrated into a sheltered path prohibited to embarrassing (Km 6.6). After a tram of calzada and some hole it comes out to an open path that rises through the northern hole of Mendizorrotz. The jacobeo itinerary follows it for 450 meters to then unmark and continue in front by a wooden path. We arrived like that next to a househouse and flagshiply returned the asphalt (Km 9.1) to draw a gateway and finally go out to the road.
Passed the Munioetazar (Km 10,1), equator of the stage, we leave the road in a curve and descend from front by another path (a signal indicates 787 kilometers to Santiago).
A strong repecho discomforts the arrival to the ermita of San Martín de Tours, renovated in the 16th century, and the ruin wall of the house of the seroras responsible for its maintenance. Thirty hundred meters below, at the left hand at the foot of the Way, is the hill of pilgrims of Rosa Arruti, a great hospital and one of the pioneers in the host of pilgers on the Way of the North. We get to the Mayor Street of Orio, with several interesting edifications of the 16th century and a Centre of Interpretation of the Way, and pass under the balcony that communicates a housing with the robust parish church of St. Nicholas of Bari.

We double to the left and cross the river by the bridge in direction of Zarautz. We board this at the foot of the N-634, another of the companions of our journey, we get to a cross where it indicates to the right towards Txurruka and Port. Look at this point, the cyclists will follow towards Txurruka and will continue that road, they will pass below one of the amazing viaductes of the A-8 to the Churuka Youth Albergue, but the pilgrims on foot in the same curve once passed the deviation will take a way to the right between two houses, they shall pass below the A8 and then rise to the left by the wide paved track that runs between the two housing. txakoli vineyards, a typical white wine of this area, up to Talaimendi and the Grand Camping Zarautz. In the facilities have adapted a space for pilgrims, although it is located at the top of a garage and let’s say it’s better to check it before staying. (Km 17,4)
At these heights of the stage this last rise has made mella and our great consolation is that from here to the end we only have to let ourselves take. We descend by the road with an excellent panorama of Zarautz, the golf field and, at the bottom, Getaria and its mouse. To get to the Mayor Street, with some pensions and hostels, you have to continue through the avenue of Navarra for a kilometer and turn to the left on any of the streets that give the old part.
